About The Event - 15, 16 & 17 June 2017

We would like to welcome you again to the 2017 Sardine Run Golf Tournament. This year's competition will be held on the Thursday 15th, Friday 16th & Saturday 17th June 2017.

This tournament will be played at three golf courses, Scottburgh, Umkomaas & Selborne.

Here are a few things that you need to know about the Tournament: 

1. THE FORMATS ARE:

SCOTTBURGH – Fourball Alliance – Two scores to count
UMKOMAAS – Betterball – Teams split up 
SELBORNE – Betterball – Teams split up
EACH TEAM WILL PLAY AT EACH COURSE 

2. TEAM DRAWS:
These will be done prior to the Tournament and forwarded to you

3. PRIZE GIVINGS AND DINNER
S:
Thursday & Friday prize giving's will take place 45 minutes after the last four ball has completed play. This will be at the course you play at on that day.

Saturday's prize giving's covering all games played will be held at Scottburgh.
This will include all overall prizes.

Umkomaas players will eat and have prize giving at Umkomaas, Scottburgh & Selborne players will eat and have prize giving at Scottburgh.

4. PAYMENTS
The entrance fee R5,000 per four ball of which must be paid no later than the 31st May 2017. Please note that the captain of the team is responsible for the payment of the full amount and that he is to collect the money from his own team. Lastly please don’t forget that we are here to have fun so come and enjoy!!!

INFO ON THE EVENT

1. The Theme – Themes will be forwarded to team captains and best dressed prizes will be given.

2. Carts and Caddies are available at each course and for your ownt account, Golf Carts will be allocated on a frist booked and Full Team paid basis, a reference number will be allocated for your golf carts.

3. Wristbands will be issued on registration; these are to be worn at all times during the Tournament, NO WRISTBAND NO PLAY – NO WRISTBAND NO EAT!!!! Wristbands must be worn on your wrist, nowhere else.

4. Draws will be done by the 9th June 2017 and you will be informed soon after what days you will be playing what course, the draw cannot be changed.

5. Registration evening will take place on Wednesday, 14th June 2017 from 5pm. Alternatively, it will be done for your team at the course where you have been drawn on day one, where you can go straight to the course drawn for you.

6. Saturday's prize giving and final dinner will be held at Scottburgh Golf Club only, and will include all overall prizes.  Scottburgh Golf Club has employed an outsourced caterer with a stellar reputation to provide dinners throughout the tournament.

7. Photos - a cameraman will be taking photos during the 3 day tournament

8. Swopping of players must be reported to the officials, your team can thereafter compete for daily prizes but not the overall Sardine Run Prize

9. Tee Off Times will be confirmed closer to the time

10. Prizes - Besides Daily Prizes for each Golf Course overall Sardine Run Prizes will be paid to the first five teams.
